This walk begins at Hyams Beach and proceeds north across the wave-cut platform to Chinamans Beach. Hyams Beach is a popular diving school venue on weekends throughout the year.

Best at low tide, this walk offers spectacular views of the Bay and has a number of beautiful rock pools.

Geology: Initially marginal marine sands (beach) leading to Snapper Point Formation Quartz sandstone and pebbly sandstone, minor silstone and conglomerate. The rock formation tilts and has been eroded by wave cutting. The complexity is obvious on this walk.

Vegetation: There is little vegetation on the platform with remnant eucalypts on the parkland above and casuarinas on the edge towards Chinamans Beach.
