This is a stroll along Chinamans Beach to Duck Gully. The vegetation on the dune edge is varied and considerable. Duck Gully is dynamic opening and closing the exit to the Bay.
Geology: Marginal marine sands on the Bay edge, with stabilised Aeolian sand sheets forming low, old dunes.
Vegetation: Low woodland and heath on the beach edge with sedgeland at Duck gully. Woodland here is characterised by B. serrata, B. integrifolia and Leptospermum laevigatum. On the beach are Acacia longifolia, Carpobrotus glaucescens and Spinifex.
